Writing Her Way to Success: Conversation With Sue Anderson

Sue Anderson first came into my world in 2009. She was asked to interview me so I could share my story on the success of our first online business. I was so nervous leading up to that conversation. Hearing anyone call me a success was strange. My bank account would say otherwise. We immediately bonded and became good friends. 14 years later it was my turn to interview her for my world-famous podcast. We talk about all things parenting, entrepreneurship, and even how to be a better partner in ...

What Would Daddy Do? | Turning My Kids Into Stoics

I raised my daughters to develop programs. And by "programs," I mean skills and values that I knew would help them become their best selves in the future. The concept of stoicism is one of them. I like to call it the concept of keeping one’s cool because, essentially, that's what it is. Watch today’s video where I share how I became a stoic and how I ended up turning my kids into one as well. - - - - - - - - - - - - The Obstacle is the Way - Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Ryan-Holiday-O...

A Petty Dad’s Confession: Why I’m Proud of My Smart-ass Kids

I raised my daughters to think on their own. To understand that they are free to express their thoughts. And I’m really proud of that. With respect in mind, doing so does not make them smart-asses. We, as grown adults, should see this, too. Won't you agree? In this video, I talk about why having healthy discussions with our kids is important. - Follow us on all channel Website: https://teevee.mx Podcast: https://teevee.fm Also Visit: smartasskids.com

Dad Interviews His Teenage Daughter (Dad Jokes Included)

Every summer since the divorce, I get my daughters for an entire month for summer vacation. I try to give them as many experiences and lessons as possible during that time. Broke Dad’s Guide to Cheap Yet Educational Games After Divorce

At one point in my life, I had little money to spend. But I still had the responsibility to make sure that my daughters enjoyed their time with me. And that brought out my creative juices. Apart from the need to have fun, they were at an age where play was necessary for them to learn a few things about life. At that time, I ended up inventing a game or two that cost little to no money. More importantly, I realized what my kids actually needed. Watch today’s video where I talk about how the si...

Biggest Reason Kids Disobey You and Why Pink Elephants Matter

Allow me to share a parenting tip with you. But first, "Don't think of a pink elephant." Humans have this quirk—when we're told not to think about something, we have to think about it to then not think about it. That is why, right now, you’re still thinking of a pink elephant. Things are no different for our kids who are still figuring out the world around them. Just imagine this. When you tell your kid not to touch the hot stove, you're not saying no. You're just planting the idea of doing it...

Daddy Issues

I became acutely aware of what the term "daddy issues" meant as I started dating after my divorce. I had a ton of them. This fact is apparent to anyone who has read my writing for any length of time. The women that I dated had their daddy issues as well. I learned just how important a father plays in their children's lives, for both sons and daughters.

Portfolio of Success l How I Helped My Daughters Develop Confidence and Speak With Power

They can shoot a basketball with decent form. They throw and catch a football (often better than most boys). They can write with power and vulnerability, step on stage, and share their truth with a room full of people. They can draw, paint, shoot, and edit. I’ll stop there. They can do so much so well at such a young age. This is my daughters’ Portfolio of Success. This is how I developed them into the confident young ladies that the world sees today. Listen to podcast for the full story.
