In order to become a good parent or partner, you need to be a good person. Working on yourself is the first step to becoming who you want to be.

Parents tend to pressure kids to certain standards that end up making them feel like they are not good enough. You have to let them discover who they are, or who they want to be.

When you create a safe place for your kids to tell you how they feel they will always trust you and come to you.

It came to a point in my life when I realized that I cared less and less about my father’s approval.

As a kid I used to worship my dad, but as I grew up I realized how off based he was, up to the point where I actually hated him.
