I was at a networking event last week with my daughter, and I felt the irony. I used to be the one pushing her to go meet people. Now she's the one pushing me.
She was tired, and she came anyway. Then she looked at me and said, "Let's go talk to them."
I stood there proud. She walks in with her head up, shakes hands like she owns the place, and makes everyone feel welcome. Watching her is like watching a younger me, only braver.
