Anastacia’s College Update: New Courses, Lasting Friendships, & Opportunities
Before Anastacia packed her bags for another semester of college, we sat down to talk and hit record.
She’s kicking off the term with exciting new classes, amazing new friends, and an internship that seemed too good to be true (and yes, it’s legit!).
As a father, hearing her share what she’s learning, who she’s meeting, and how she’s growing is the kind of moment I don’t want to miss.
This episode is simply a dad spending time and swapping stories with his fast-growing baby daughter.

00:00:00:00 - 00:00:11:06
I keep getting asked this. I'm asking for you on behalf of everyone. The question is, what are you going to school for? Oh.
00:00:11:08 - 00:00:24:02
Sometimes I feel like a black sheep because I'm there and I'm like, I don't know what this class is about. Some people are like, oh, I'm looking forward to this class. Like, I know what this map is. And I hear the name, like, I don't know what it is. I'm excited to take it, but oh, I have no idea of going in.
00:00:24:02 - 00:00:42:07
I was looking for internships and I just saw one. I popped up, it was like, well, this sounds perfect. The description of it sounded fake. It sounded too good to be true. And then another lady reached out and she wanted to have like, these are all for the phone, and she wanted to have an actual zoom call and like, oh, this is getting serious.
00:00:42:13 - 00:00:57:17
And she's like, boss lady. That's when it felt really religiously. Okay. So I had a couple of friends at the end of the year where like, it was starting to blossom, messaged each other a couple times during the summer, and then I had three other friends where I was like, okay, I want to get to know you more.
00:00:57:18 - 00:01:17:01
They were in my in department in my major, and they just seemed like the coolest people ever. And I really wanted to get to know them more. And I was like, oh, I felt like I was in pre-K again. Can leave you friend. My friend is really scared. But these are the best friendships ever. Yeah.
00:01:17:03 - 00:01:42:04
I brought you here today because I had to tell my daughter something. I'm kidding. Welcome to today's podcast. My name is Steve, and this is my lovely assistant and brilliant daughter. I'm a slasher slasher era. We are here. It's summer. You're about to go back to school. I'm going to release this before you leave. Oh, whatever it takes, whatever it takes for me to get it done.
00:01:42:10 - 00:02:06:13
Because I want to push it out. So it's summer 2025. I was about to say six. No. And she's wrapping up the last few weeks here. How's it been? How summer been for you? Not. You're, like, officially a junior. Oh, it's crazy, cause I'm, like, technically an adult. But when I'm here for the summer, I feel so helpless and doesn't feel old.
00:02:06:14 - 00:02:26:19
Yeah, I don't know. It's just so we're. Oh, by the way, we're at white Rock Lake. So if you see bugs are stealing this, know that for us, shooting people off. No, that is because they're out in public, and we're trying to do a podcast because I have to do a podcast anyways. So how how's your summer been?
00:02:27:00 - 00:02:32:08
And any exciting news to share with the world?
00:02:32:10 - 00:03:02:10
Up my sleeves. Oh, I have started unofficially, but officially my first internship, with northwestern Mutual as a financial planner. Yeah, we'll go with planner profits. Really happy to see you guys. What was the process like? Because this wasn't. Oh, I just got it. Somebody call me out of nowhere. But it was a process that you started before you left.
00:03:02:10 - 00:03:21:23
So share with the world what that looks like, because I wouldn't have been able to do it. It occurred to me in, like, February 3rd, this of this year that I like thinking really far ahead. So it occurred to me that once I graduate and come back, I need a big girl job and I need to get started because I need to pay for to be at live like I need to.
00:03:22:03 - 00:03:38:06
I need to live somewhere, which means I need an actual job to get all of that. I gotta get you off. Yeah, exactly. Right. And I was thinking, well, if I'm going to get a big girl job, the first one I would want it to be is like starting into this field. And I looked up on indeed, like entry level jobs with zero experience.
00:03:38:06 - 00:03:59:11
So there was like two. And I was like, oh no, I need experience now. Yeah. So continuing on and I was looking for internships and I just saw one, I popped up, it was like ten minutes from my college was like, well, this sounds perfect. The description of it sounded fake. It sounded too good to be true, paid, very flexible.
00:03:59:11 - 00:04:24:15
If I do well the first semester, I can continue for however many semesters, and then that being so close that I can do it during the school year. So I applied. And then throughout that I remember you messaged me like I applied. I was so excited. I just don't know if it's real. Exactly. During the next week, I was like literally up until like day 7 or 8, I was thinking, okay, yeah, I was just a fake posting.
00:04:24:15 - 00:04:39:11
I will link in these in a come from it. At least I tried. Man, I knew it was too good to be true. And then they email me back. Which is funny because even when they emailed me, I was still skeptical. I was looking up the names, trying to see if I could even find that person. I found her Facebook.
00:04:39:13 - 00:05:03:04
Is she real? Does she actually work there? I was really scared. There's a really well developed, scam where your email is long and they had all their stuff on it. I was like, this looks just real. Looks. But I'm still a little hesitant. And she reached out, just saying, if we could hop on a call in the next week just to talk about me and the I guess it was kind of an interview.
00:05:03:09 - 00:05:22:03
I never actually felt like an interview throughout, like it was it was just for like, conversations. But I guess they were probably I mean, that's what I sort of interviews are not bullet point anyways. It was more about a real legitimate conversation, just getting to know each other. What do you like to do for dinner? What do you like to eat but why this field?
00:05:22:03 - 00:05:37:04
Why I want to do this? And I was like, okay, this is going really well. And then I think we may have had one more call. And then another lady reached out and she wanted to have like, these are all over the phone and she wanted to have an actual zoom call and was like, oh, this is getting serious.
00:05:37:09 - 00:05:59:19
And she's like, boss lady, this is your title boss lady. Probably like somewhere in the signature of her email, I said, boss lady. Yeah. And so whenever I saw her face and she's sitting in her office and we're talking, that's when it felt really religiously, okay, I'm like, get this, this. Either this is legit or this is a really prolonged scam.
00:05:59:21 - 00:06:18:02
Like, they're really putting all their eggs in this basket. Like, I'm going to get this cute. I'm a poser. Yeah. Like I yeah, man. We live in a crazy world. I'm skeptical of it. I got to be skeptical. You can't. You do you you don't want to be the ones that fall for the phishing. Oh, God. Yeah, well, you didn't I didn't.
00:06:18:07 - 00:06:40:19
And then unless unless it's it's still like, I know you're still fake. Is that. That's hilarious. Oh, that seems real. Like you already had a couple, like Fast Forward. So now she said, oh, the first, the first lady. I talked to, she thought, okay, we'll do the spring because she whenever I applied, she was making me more for the summer.
00:06:40:19 - 00:06:55:04
Unknown
And I was like, no, I have to be home at least for this summer. Like I'm not ready to just dip for a whole six, seven weeks. And she goes, okay, well, then we can do the spring semester because the summer typically leads into the fall, so we can get you in a couple weeks early for spring. You can do.
00:06:55:04 - 00:07:13:19
Unknown
The spring semester was great, but then when I talked to the other lady, the boss lady, she says, we you have an open schedule in the fall. I don't see why we can't get you started. So let's jam early. So you're in early on the scam, It's going to be the running joke. Okay? Can you. It. And I was super pumped.
00:07:13:19 - 00:07:34:14
Unknown
And they just said, then reach out when it got closer, which was the worst part. So I'm like, okay, when is close enough? When are you going to reach out? And then recently a new person reached out. So this is a really oh big scams. They have a website inception. No is new person. And this is the guy who actually like manages the interns.
00:07:34:14 - 00:07:55:10
Unknown
And he's been an intern before which I thought was really cool. Good to know he was an intern. And then afterwards he hired full time, and he still lists promising. Yeah. Actually, this one of the stats I found was really cool. They've one third of their interns become full time employees after they graduate. Hello. That. I was like, that's a good statistic to have good rate of return.
00:07:55:12 - 00:08:21:01

Today's episode of Becoming Better Ancestors is brought to you by me. That's right. To the marketer, founder of Rockstar Dot marketing, where we help small businesses stop being invisible and start becoming unforgettable. That's what you are. If we run a local business and you're tired of throwing money away on ads that don't work, or worse, trusting your cousin's friend who does marketing on the side, it's time to call in the pros.
00:08:21:01 - 00:08:43:01
Unknown
We do digital advertising, video marketing, I integrations and strategy that actually gets results. No fluff, no excuses, just ROI. I head on over to WW Rockstar dot marketing. It's a real thing and let's make some marketing magic happen. All right, so let me ask you this. Because I keep getting asked this. I'm asking for you on behalf of everyone because I'm not absolutely sure.
00:08:43:01 - 00:09:06:05
Unknown
I think I know, but I don't know. The question is, what are you going to school for? Oh, I usually say, I mean math. Yeah. And and then whatever else I could fill in. Yeah. For years and but I know she saying financial advisor wealth management. And there's a numbers involved in that. But so share with the people what that looks like.
00:09:06:07 - 00:09:33:20
Unknown
What a quality. Tldr yes, yes, I have no idea what that stands for. I do long didn't read. Oh really? So it's like 1 or 2 lines too long to read that you don't really read. I keep hearing that. I'm like, so you mean like the gist of it? Yes, essentially. Okay. I'm going to school and I'm studying math because the plan is to do finance, but the specific program I'm in where I can get my masters in one year in finance at Notre Dame, I can't major in business.
00:09:33:20 - 00:09:50:00
Unknown
They want people who are good numbers. Okay. And I have always wanted to study math. When I was little, I was like, that's what I really want, numbers. That's what I'm going to do. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, but I'm going to study math. And then eventually I give it up like, okay, I probably have to do something a little more specific to what I want to pursue.
00:09:50:02 - 00:10:14:01
Unknown
But when they said, no, don't do it. Don't do business, do math. I said, okay, thank you. And little me was very happy clown studying math. And then I also have I have a computer science minor. So I'm doing that for five. I got gender women's studies. I got the humanities side of my brain working. So I'm filling up my four years as much as I can until afterwards.
00:10:14:01 - 00:10:29:14
Unknown
I have one more year in Notre Dame to do finance where that I really apply. And I think that's part of why they like me a lot, too. They're like, oh, she's like a whole plan out. Yeah, yeah. You have a notion. Got a base. I do have a database of courses I need to has it all listed it.
00:10:29:15 - 00:10:51:22
Unknown
I have the next three years planned out. Yeah, I seen this, I love it. Back to the internship. Summer. Like a week ago. Two weeks ago, actually, some another another guy. The team reached out and he said, if we can set up a call since the my first time meeting him, it's the introductory call and he sends me Google Calendar invite.
00:10:51:22 - 00:11:19:18
Unknown
And it says like just an internship call, not interview. And my I was expecting this will be interviewed, I guess, because that's things like no way like I'm this ended. Except I guess I never said it officially. Yeah. Because yeah, by this point, like you're weeks out from being on. Yeah. Onboarded or on the team, they're going to be doing a long onboarding process so that I will officially get like an invitation.
00:11:19:18 - 00:11:41:09
Unknown
What do they call it? An offer for the spring semester. That's when they're like really start bolstering the semester to build us up, building our book of 200 people, 200 of like, people we could reach out to so that when it was time to go, because since he was an intern, he said he felt like his because normally this is two weeks of a full semester and then you jump right in.
00:11:41:11 - 00:11:57:19
Unknown
And he said he felt like he was just thrown in the water. And they want to spend longer where you can have more time. You can focus on school. And this which I'm very grateful for. Yeah. And then like, I'll be I'll be in the office in the spring. If and that also gives me time to decide if I still want to do this after.
00:11:57:22 - 00:12:15:10
Unknown
Right. Kind of getting a taste of it. Yeah. I don't know if he caught me. It was great event last week. No, this week we had a zoom call and I have homework, and I got started immediately on that homework. And I feel so professional. I was, although I'm sitting on my laptop giggling because I'm so excited that things are happening.
00:12:15:15 - 00:12:41:07
Unknown
So too are you friends of mine? They're watching this, those that she's already reached out to. Thank you. You're awesome. You and, the rest of you, CB, it's not. It's probably to have a conversation with you and get good at this, this entire thing. But thank you to those friends of mine because, she's been able to quickly get get the calls that she needs and start training herself, training through the process.
00:12:41:07 - 00:13:03:19
Unknown
So love you guys. I love this music. Yeah. Is it week enough time to do five? I was like, yeah, I can do this. And so I got on it and boom, seven of them schedule. Basically schedule. Love you. Yeah, yeah. Of course. Makes me proud because I have good friends that are willing to give up their time and support and help her, because they love her.
00:13:03:20 - 00:13:26:06
Unknown
She's y'all. And we are all one family, all in my inner circle. So really appreciate it. So that's been really cool to hear her get excited about it all because it makes her process a lot easier. So and my support system very tangible, like, yeah, you're there, but now you're there. Yeah, yeah. Now we're talking. You got to show up.
00:13:26:06 - 00:13:45:04
Unknown
And everyone seems to be doing it willingly and like, yeah, oh yeah, what do you need? Right. So that's incredibly encouraging that I have a good group of people that are showing up for her. The coolest thing is he said that he wants, like, as many people in different careers I can. I was like, this is perfect, you know, and have introduced me to that.
00:13:45:04 - 00:14:05:15
Unknown
People have been in my life so many years in so many different careers. Yeah, they're all over the place. I can give you exactly what you need. Mr.. Yeah. I love that of of have a good network. My network is her network, and the network. Moving on. I want to bring up something from our last conversation. The last time she was on was right before she was going to go back to school last year.
00:14:05:17 - 00:14:32:07
Unknown
And, one of the topics of conversation was friendships, friends. Because one of the things I noticed in her freshman year is she didn't get out too much. If you have a lot of friends and she shared her strategy, what was your strategy? Taking my time. Yeah, we'll say that we'll start that just because I had in the first couple of weeks, I jumped right in, found a couple of people, and then just tried link in Arms and going everywhere together.
00:14:32:07 - 00:14:49:15
Unknown
But that didn't last very long. Things blew up very quickly, and it was crazy to see how quickly those friendships and well, I kind of just this some turkeys back there, some turkey looking ducks don't have any bread this time. Don't mind me. Sorry. We're were getting dark. They're firm. Oh, I was wanting what you do. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:14:49:17 - 00:15:09:01
Unknown
And the sun's about to be gone. Gone? Yes. Anyway, anyways, so I had a little pace of how quickly things can blow up because we didn't know each other for two weeks, and, and we all just assume that we know each other. But you didn't. I was like, okay, I got time. I'm gonna take my time. I would take my time, and I took my time.
00:15:09:01 - 00:15:29:01
Unknown
I took plenty of time. In fact, she took so much time. This summer happened. Yeah. What summer happened? I was still planting. Yes. That's what I keep calling it. Planting seeds. And now, like I'm going into my second year, these are the best friendships ever. Yeah. These are it's I, I don't know if everyone knows I go to an all women's college.
00:15:29:01 - 00:15:48:12
Unknown
So these are the best ladies I've ever met. Now we are like, linked arms. Hey, you want to run to, We do. We have a we do have Culver's here. You want some ice cream? Let's go get some ice cream. And just doing everything together, it's like you should did that. We have dinner. We call it family dinner.
00:15:48:12 - 00:16:04:21
Unknown
We go and we are. I love that, like, that's cool. People come in and out, but, I get to see everyone every night. They drag you out of your dorm. They do drag me out of my dorm room, and I'm not like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, you're, like, willingly wanting to go. Yeah. Because before, the impression I got is like, nobody.
00:16:04:23 - 00:16:22:17
Unknown
She didn't get out for anything. She was off school, which is great. I'm paying for it and she's on it and it's making it worthwhile. And I never doubted it. But like, I need you to get on me some brands because, you know, for you, social. We're social creatures. But you, you you nailed it. You planted those season, bro.
00:16:22:19 - 00:16:37:14
Unknown
So I had a couple of friends at the end of the year where it's like it was starting to blossom. We messaged each other a couple times during the summer last year. Yes. And then I had three other friends where I was like, okay, I want to get to know you more. They were in my in, oh attached microphone.
00:16:37:14 - 00:16:53:12
Unknown
I'm so, so sorry. They were in my in my department in my major in they just seemed like the coolest people ever. And I really wanted to get to know them more. And I was like, oh, I felt like I was in pre-K again. Like, can leave you friend. And you, my friend is really scared. But I started with one person.
00:16:53:13 - 00:17:12:17
Unknown
She goes, I think you would love this girl and I think you love this girl network. But it all happened for the summer happened and stay it. Okay, I sent them a couple of Instagram reels over the summer just to make them think of me while I'm gone. Don't forget about me. Call somebody. Call them like strumming the the chords a little bit.
00:17:12:19 - 00:17:36:21
Unknown
Like every so often strum the chords and actually yeah I will. Yeah. And it's been great with them bonding over like our math. So now we have study days like, oh, now we are locked in in our. Yes. Yeah. We're texting all summer long I met them you met them. You really, meet them. Yeah. So I met them in the second semester, beginning of this year.
00:17:36:23 - 00:17:53:18
Unknown
So she. I had told her I wanted to go, I hadn't been I want to go. I mean, I did go to drop her off for freshman year, but I haven't been to just hang out. And she was like, great, because my friends want to meet you there. Heard the legend excited. They love you. And the legend. The exact legend of me.
00:17:53:18 - 00:18:21:06
Unknown
Whatever that means. And like they know, Thursday nights at 7 p.m. on his busy and busy. Busy like right now. But yeah, this is like right here, right now. We've been doing this on two years pretty consistently. So it went and was blown away by them. They had me rolling. They are some characters dynamic, backgrounds and yeah, personalities.
00:18:21:08 - 00:18:57:01
Unknown
Hostile at times. This is stupid there. But they yeah, they, they literally like sisters that you can tell that they loved each other. And I mean, at least again, we did. We watched, Mickey, Mickey, Mickey 17. But it was just this really incredible experience to meet her friends. She is develop these friendships with in in the year and made me feel the feel good as her father that she's got this because that was the one piece that I was like, are you gonna be able to handle you do that every call, like so many of.
00:18:57:03 - 00:19:14:21
Unknown
Yeah, friends. However, I was like, oh my God, I love you, but you're human. You're going to need human people. You know, we humans with legs and and arms. I gave it on your birthday. Yeah. You didn't get on your nerves sometimes, but that's what friends do. And it's great she did. There are fantastic humans. Great, souls.
00:19:15:01 - 00:19:30:01
Unknown
Smart. So if you're watching these guys. Oh. She probably is, 4 or 5 year olds. You want to be on your podcast? She wants to be on the podcast. What's your name again? Not sorry. I always forget your name. Now, please don't be mad at me. I want to call you something else for some. This.
00:19:30:03 - 00:19:51:02
Unknown
Let's talk. Maybe we talk. Just got to figure out what we're going to talk about. This. This is a family podcast. Family. A family family. Yeah. Family trauma and whatnot. But it was so cool to meet them and actually be up there. We got to, be near Notre Dame. She was in football season. Yeah, I was hoping to catch a game.
00:19:51:03 - 00:20:13:09
Unknown
That's what I really wanted to do, but didn't work out. But all that to say is it was beautiful to witness. It was great to meet your friends and listen in on their crazy conversation and debates and is. It was, I never felt like it was hostile. It was just passionate. Passionate. Yeah. Especially this one. She's probably the one that there was the most.
00:20:13:11 - 00:20:36:02
Unknown
The most was the hostess with the most was it was about caps. Oh my gosh. Okay. That's a sensitive topic. Yes. Yes it is. But favorite part of all was like when you were there and they were talking, they didn't feel like they censored themselves at all. They were yeah, 100% themselves as crazy and cookies. They are. They were themselves and we all enjoyed it.
00:20:36:02 - 00:21:00:06
Unknown
I don't feel like they were trying to put on a front. Yeah. I didn't feel like any real work. Yeah. We have a good radar for that. When people are performing to try to impress you, there is some sort of lighthearted, sometimes passionate and outlandish, but even that was, it seemed real and, they'd ask for my opinion or that I was able to add my own $0.02, depending on the conversation was it was just really, really cool.
00:21:00:07 - 00:21:24:14
Unknown
Which brings me to my point of good job. Thanks. Good job on nurturing that because you said it on the last podcast. I'm working on it. I took my time. I don't want to rush anything because rush in. It's true. This is in every relationship you're rushing. You smash things together. You don't get to know each other well enough and find out, oh man, or valleys are different or, you're just weird and I don't vibe with you.
00:21:24:20 - 00:21:42:17
Unknown
You don't find that out until it's too late and then the fallout can get ugly. So good job, good job. On on that. And I met, like, half a dozen of them. And they're good people and smart. They're their heads in the right place. That's another thing that I was worried about. So the early story is I didn't go to college.
00:21:42:19 - 00:22:08:01
Unknown
But you're are these stories you watch are these movies, and these kids are just getting high and they're not there to go to school? I gotta be damned if that's you and all your friends. And she's nurtured some solid relationships where obviously they're partying here. They're going to China. I'm not football season series. Yeah, I like I'm no more on either, but, their heads in the right place and, the level of, intelligence in them was fascinating to just be a part of in the conversation.
00:22:08:06 - 00:22:26:21
Unknown
It was a really good weekend. Yeah. That's good. We took you around. Our food was fantastic. You the farmers market. Oh, yeah. So we had. Oh, we had a routine that every Saturday if I would wake up, they went without me. Regardless, they would go to the farmers market, get some coffee. It was really cold. I do remember that cold, but it was it was fun.
00:22:26:23 - 00:22:50:11

Head over to WW dot Rockstar dot marketing and let's make you impossible to ignore. So what are your plans for the next year besides the internship? But what are you going to try to accomplish? I have a second internship, but, you have one of them. Is that allowed? It's it's part of a class. Okay, so I'm at least I'm getting college credit for that one.
00:23:11:20 - 00:23:35:07
Unknown
Not paid for college credit. I'll take it. That's an in a way, money itself. I'm working on, like, helping them build their encyclopedia of sorts. Encyclopedia is not a book of words. Wikipedia. Like their own version of Wikipedia, their own, their wiki page. Yeah, I think that's different history. It's, in particular civil rights history.
00:23:35:09 - 00:23:55:20

Some of the writing. I have my own little page essay is written by me, and working on that throughout the semester, semester one project I'm doing that. That's something I'm really excited for because I get to go see everyone, get to go to the library, do research. Feel like a real college kid? Yeah. One class is math and science.
00:23:55:21 - 00:24:11:04
Unknown
Bring to math. Oh, my God, you're in some. Really? Like. I didn't know there was more math either. I mean, I feel like I feel like, sometimes I feel like a black sheep because I'm there and I'm like, I don't know what this class is about. Some people are like, oh, I'm looking forward to this class. Like, I know what this math is.
00:24:11:08 - 00:24:29:18
Unknown
And I hear the name, like, I don't know what it is. I'm excited. Thank you. But like linear algebra and differential equations, like some people, they mean maybe the just from whatever way they grew up. They just knew what it was. I was like, oh, I have no idea going in. The first day is going to be quite a lot for them, but it's fine.
00:24:29:20 - 00:24:47:09
Unknown
So sometimes I feel like a black sheep because I'm not quite up to speed as everyone else. I think you end up getting caught up. Yeah, pretty fast because it's like, oh, you should call me. And she's like, I love them. She does these calls with me. Luckily, I know enough to know enough. But then, like, there comes a point where my eyes glaze over.
00:24:47:10 - 00:25:08:06
Unknown
I'm like, if I'm just keeping up and just trying to retain enough information for the conversation to be able to nod my head and actually try to visualize what she's doing. But she she dunks stuff on me and she's going for like an hour straight. I'm like, oh, can I get a degree? You might graduate with me.
00:25:08:08 - 00:25:29:07
Unknown
It's real good. We gotta say something. I wasn't going to say you keep doing. Oh, no, she forgot. She forgot something else in the class. You got distracted? No. What do we do, guys? What do you do when you don't remember? Do you stand on your head? It's gone. I like I envision the inside out train of thought.
00:25:29:07 - 00:25:52:15
Unknown
The train. This list is shrink got derailed. It's like it's okay. Yeah. Doing a lot of math. I'm super excited for our math classes. She seeks out over me. She does it real well. And physics. Physics is great, but it's getting more into physics concepts. Less math. I mean, there's math, but I have to start heavily relying on the physics part.
00:25:52:15 - 00:26:12:18
Unknown
Last semester, I could rely on the math part to get by some. I have to really lock in. I remember the other subject, which was coding. Yeah, computer science, I forget because it's not on my schedule yet. Well, because it's not there. I'm taking a graduate level coding class. So when she gets into that, I know enough there to kind of keep up.
00:26:12:23 - 00:26:35:02
Unknown
But man, she's going in on on the just the philosophy, the the process of passive. Yeah. Like it's deep, deep, deep southern. Like it just tickles the brain. And I want I want to scratch your scene. Please. Okay. I kind of want to chuckle in my brain and get goosebumps through her. Because I had found. Well, that's good.
00:26:35:02 - 00:26:54:01
Unknown
I didn't see anything else you'd like to share with the World Wide Web. Before we bounce? Even without my friends, I won't be lonely. I'm taking the kitty lady. Oh, yeah. She's taking her cat again. Thankful for your network because they made that soup. Oh, my God, that's right about you. It's about me, oh, me, me, all about me.
00:26:54:03 - 00:27:10:14
Unknown
Yeah. Don't go away. Tell me about me. You have people. You introduce us to people they've been here forever. And then I can just think, texture and dip about your hair like, hey, this is what I need. I'm. You know me. Yeah. Here's all the information. And then within, like, a week, she was able to get me the letter back.
00:27:10:14 - 00:27:38:10
Unknown
And then I could send it the school when not in school. Then just a couple of meetings. I can take my cat to school. Yeah. What's crazy is I didn't realize there's gonna be a commercial for paradigm family health. Doctor Stacy Benson and her entire team are fantastic, and with them for many years. And she's witnessed my kids grow up and he, she is still their doctor and is able to help and facilitate things as they need it.
00:27:38:12 - 00:27:56:04
Unknown
And I, I didn't even know you were doing all this with her till, like, it was complete. It. Yeah. And she said win. Easy float. Super easy. I've heard horror stories of, like, how much back and forth there is between the doctors and her school of trying to get exactly what they need. But no, she gave it to me all in one, and it was perfect.
00:27:56:06 - 00:28:22:17
Unknown
It. Plus. Thank you, Doctor Benson. Nothing to say, Mr. Benson. Doctor Benson, for being awesome, for being able to sell the needs there. I do love that. A really nice one. Especially today. We were talking and going in here. She was telling me it was yesterday when she was telling me about the internship and being able to find people to to interview, as a part of her homework and her training that she was able she was able to get in touch with these people.
00:28:22:17 - 00:28:42:06
Unknown
And these people are responding super fast, super fast, because they're just, like, so excited to be able to fill in and do whatever is needed. And that's not usually an easy thing. But she's getting it because she's loved. She's, she's they've watched her grow up. You watched you grow up. And it's makes me incredibly proud about the circle.
00:28:42:06 - 00:29:05:23
Unknown
The people that I've cultivated over the years. I've grown and developed as a as a man personally, but also in the social connections that I've made. There are some good people, and they're showing up for my kid and I. It makes me so stinkin proud, to have these these people and and, then you get to benefit from the relationships, and they love you.
00:29:06:00 - 00:29:27:00
Unknown
Like you're not just piggy, like, smooching and asking when you when you've you yourself have a relationship with all of them, right? Yeah. So it's not like, hey, I never talk to you, Chris. And I actually can't stand you, but I need a favor. Can you do this now? It's like you have an ongoing relationship, with them that they don't mind.
00:29:27:02 - 00:29:47:04
Unknown
And it's hard to ask people for time like I. That's why I'm even more fascinated. People are like, yeah, so good on you as well. So you do have friendships with them. You've you have conversations and you have your own personal weird relationships with some of them. Chris, for example, like they're always arguing intellectually the singles track and anything.
00:29:47:06 - 00:30:08:18
Unknown
So the battle of wits, there's a battle of wits. So exactly what it is. So, unless you have anything else, I love you. Thank you. I love you, too. Everything. She said it on camera. Yeah. It's documented, you know, cause I write. I love these kids. I love my life. I love being a father. And there's some good kids, and I'm.
00:30:08:18 - 00:30:32:03
